Mercantil Commercebank offers a variety of Certificates of Deposit (CD) with flexible terms. A short, medium or long term that earns higher yields for a fixed period based on account balance and terms selected.

The customer decides the term of maturity according to his/her needs and now Online Banking customers can benefit from being able to open a Mercantil Commercebank Certificate of Deposit (CD) with a minimum of U.S. $10,000.00.

All that's required to get started is:

• A Mercantil Commercebank Account (Checking, Savings, Money Market or NOW).
• Sufficient funds in the account to fund the CD Online.

To open a CD online, simply log-in and select the "Certificates of Deposit Online" option from the "Banking Transactions" menu.
