CARLOS LAMOURTTE NAMED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT DOMESTIC COMMERCIAL BANKING REGIONAL MANAGER AT MERCANTIL COMMERCEBANK

Mercantil Commercebank, one of the largest banks headquartered in Florida, announced that Carlos Lamourtte has been named Senior Vice President, Domestic Commercial Banking Regional Manager for the East Region.
In this role, he will be responsible for managing the East Region Commercial lending team and will focus on expanding existing commercial banking relationships and growing the customer base to increase loans.
“Carlos Lamourtte brings a wealth of banking experience with him to the position,” said Ed Holden, Executive Vice President, Domestic Personal and Domestic Commercial Banking Manager. “He will be a great asset to the Bank in helping to meet our business objectives and goals.”
Lamourtte joins the Bank after serving as Senior Vice President of Corporate Lending at U.S. Century Bank. He has also held various commercial banking and management positions, including Vice President of Corporate at Regions Bank and Banco Santander.
Lamourtte is a graduate of La Universidad Católica de Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with a B.A. in business administration. He also holds an M.B.A. in finance from Florida International University.
