Mercantil Commercebank names Hector Garcia as Vice President MIddle Market Lender

Mercantil Commercebank, one of the largest privately held banks in South Florida, today announced the appointment of Héctor García as Vice President Middle Market Lender. He will be based in the Bank’s Corporate Headquarters located at 220 Alhambra Circle, Coral Gables.
As Vice President Middle Market Lender, García will develop and manage middle market relationships by providing financial services such as commercial loans, lines of credit, trade finance, treasury services, and deposit products to major businesses within the community. García will also facilitate clients the necessary strategic and financial planning to enable their business to grow.
García joins Mercantil Commercebank with nearly 20 years of banking experience in South Florida. Most recently he served as Vice President Business Banking Client Manager for Bank of America where he acquired experience in business products sales, business credit underwriting, and proactive client portfolio management and development.

García earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami, Florida and is a NASD Registered Investment Representative. He is also active in the community as a member of the Board of Directors of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and as participant in the March of Dimes and The United Way.
